Rev. Sunil Chacko hails from Kampamcode, Valakom, Kerala and belongs to the All-Saints Mar Thoma Church, Kampamcode. Rev. Sunil Chacko was ordained as a Mar Thoma priest in 2003. He completed his Theological education at Mar Thomas Seminary, Kottayam Kerala and graduated from Kerala University. Rev. Sunil Chacko has extensively served in different Mar Thoma parishes. He served in New Delhi Jerusalem Mar Thoma church and Wardha Mission in North India. He was then transfer to Pothanicad Bethel, Nellimattom Bethel, Methala Immanuel, Neriyamangalam Mission, Vadakkupuram Salem, Kumbazha Bethel, Melelbhagom Bethel, Pariyaram St.Pauls, Attachackal St.Thomas, Chengara Bethel, Nellikkala Marthoma, Vellappara St.Stephens, Thevalakkara Immanuel and Arinallor Bethel in Kerala India.
Rev. Sunil Chacko also served as a Member of North West India Zonal Council (NCCI, Northern Region), Council Member in Ranni Nilackal Diocese, a member Mar Thoma Ecological Commission and Secretary of Ranni Nilackal Diocese(Short Term) in Kerala.
Rev. Sunil Chacko’s wife is Lisa Elizabeth Mathew who is from Kottayam, Kerala and belongs to Managanam St. Peters Mar Thoma Church. They have two boys- Josh J Sunil and Steeve M Sunil.
Rev. Sunil Chacko was transferred back to India on April 30, 2024 and serves as the Vicar of Jerusalem Mar Thoma Church, Kuttapuzha, Kerala.
